TYPE / ROUTINE TEST

Electrical and electronic equipment is evaluated for compliance with quality, durability, reliability and safety standards by subjecting it to various tests known as type tests. High Voltage Test:

• Purpose: To evaluate the product’s resistance to high voltage conditions.
• Application: High voltage testing is performed by applying voltage above the design voltage of the device.

Insulation Test:

• Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of electrical isolation.
• Application: It is applied to measure the insulation resistance between different electrical parts of the product.

Short Circuit Withstand Test:

• Purpose: To test the durability of the product in short circuit situations.
• Application: Done to evaluate how the product responds under short circuit conditions.

Insulation Resistance Test:

• Purpose: To check the integrity of electrical insulation.
• Application: It is done by measuring the resistance of the insulation on the product.

Temperature and Environmental Tests:

• Purpose: To evaluate the product’s resistance to certain temperature and environmental conditions.
• Application: The product is tested by exposure to low and high temperatures, humidity conditions and other environmental factors.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Tests:

• Purpose: To evaluate the compatibility of electrical devices in the electromagnetic environment.
• Application: Includes tests such as exposure to electromagnetic fields, conductivity and radiation tests.

Mechanical Strength Tests:

• Purpose: To evaluate the product’s resistance to mechanical shocks, vibrations and other mechanical stresses.
• Application: The product is tested under mechanical stress according to certain standards.
